Brighton & Hove Hockey Stars is a new initiative by Brighton & Hove Hockey Club with the aim to make field hockey available to young children, both boys and girls currently in school years 3-6, who may not have the opportunity to play or access the sport otherwise.

All abilities are welcome!

Spring Sessions 2025 - FULLY SUBSCRIBED

The upcoming Spring Sessions, proudly sponsored by Morgan Sindall Construction, will run for 5 weeks with sessions taking place on the following days:

• Wednesday 23rd April
• Wednesday 30th April
• Wednesday 7th May
• Wednesday 14th May
• Wednesday 21st May

Time: 5.30pm - 6.30pm
Location: Blatchington Mill School, Nevill Avenue, Hove, BN3 7NB

As part of the sessions each child will receive and get to keep:

• a playing shirt - supplied at the first session
• a hockey stick - supplied at each session but looked after by the club until the last session

The total cost per child for all of the 5 sessions is £10, to be paid prior to the first session. If the child were to subsequently join Brighton & Hove Hockey Club then this £10 can be used as part payment towards junior membership.

Note to parents/guardians: please be aware that every child needs to have have an adult present throughout each of the sessions. The adult does not need to be you but you do need to ensure they are accompanied by a trusted adult known to you, and that the adult takes responsibility for your child when they are not on the pitch. It is acceptable for one adult to have responsibility for several children.
