About the team
The W7s were born at the start of the season 2016/17 when our women's club membership grew significantly on the back of the Hockey Gold the Women's Team GB won at the Olympics in Rio, which inspired so many to play this amazing sport, or play it again!
The 7s were entered into the Sussex League's 3rd division as a friendly team and we played our matches with lots of enthusiasm, a good amount of goal scoring and a lot of bonding as a team.
In 2017/18 we are going for points and will be playing as a fully fledged league team, our squad is about 18 strong and we are looking forward to the new season.
We train Monday evenings from 7.30-9pm on the top pitch at Blatchington Mill School in Hove.
