Volunteers wanted at Brighton Half Marathon 2025

Organisers appeal to BHHC members to help at big community event in March

Organisers of the Brighton Half Marathon are asking for support from members of Brighton & Hove Hockey Club in volunteering to help at the 2025 event in March.

There are several roles that volunteers could be assigned to including course marshal,
youth race, water station, start/finish area and baggage.

Jack Pallister, the Volunteers Coordinator for the Brighton Half Marathon 2025, says:
"This year’s race is taking place on Sunday March 2 at our new location on Hove Lawns. As a charity-owned event, we wouldn’t be able to go ahead without the incredible support of volunteers who really do create the atmosphere and ensure the whole event remains firmly rooted in the community.

Depending on the role, the majority of volunteer start times are between 7am and 9am, with the latest time that you will finish being 2.30pm (some roles finish earlier). All volunteers will be provided with a breakfast bag and we cater for all dietary requirements.

Unlike previous years, the youth race will take place the day before (Saturday March 1). If you are available and interested in volunteering on the youth race, please do let us know when you fill out the form. Please note that this will only require 4 to 5 hours of volunteering from 12pm on March 1 and food will be provided during your time on site."
