Simon Healey reports: “The Cormorants travelled to EG in the league with a bare XI, a result of half term school trips and injuries. EG started well but Brighton quickly found their feet and were soon two goals up from a couple of short corners - Honey and Megs converting.

We then totally dominated the rest of the half and could have easily have scored a hatful - we were causing havoc down both wings. The EG goalie made some really good stops to keep them in the game.

Imo scored to make it 3-0 early in the second half but EG then had a good spell, scoring once and forcing a couple of short corners. However Elise scored to settle our nerves and Poppy added a fifth with the last touch of the game.

MoMs were Elise and Elsie, but also special mentions for Poppy and Bea for their performances.
