Horsham Girls Under-16s 3
BHHC Cormorants 5
Simon Healey reports: "Another excellent win for the Under-16 girls at a frigid Christ’s Hospital on Sunday. This was a real game of two halves; Horsham looked strong at the start but Brighton soon took over and dominated the first half, scoring four excellent goals without reply.
Sorrel’s great distribution and pace down both wings was way too much for Horsham to cope with. The second half was much more even, with Brighton getting a bit complacent (plenty of competition for 'worst aerial attempt of the day’) and also suffering with the bitter cold.
Whilst Horsham recovered to 4-2 and then 5-3 we never really looked like losing and continued to create chances, with some great goalkeeping and a missed flick stopping us scoring more. Scorers were Imo (2), Elise (2) and Elsie.
The girls would all like thermals and gloves for Christmas please."
