Simon Healey reports: "Last game of the season for the Cormorants against an excellent Horsham side (this was second vs third) on a beautiful spring morning at Blatch.

We switched to a more aggressive 3-4-3 setup and started strongly, creating chances down both wings from the off. Horsham took a shock lead after 10 minutes from a brilliant aerial pass but we reacted well, equalised immediately and then took the lead, before adding a third on the stroke of half time.

The second half was again competitive but some clinical finishing saw us score four goals in 20 minutes to kill the game off. A late Horsham consolation made the final score 7-2.

Goals came from Elise (2), Poppy (2), Imo (2) and Honey.

MoMs were Elsie and Honey, but all 11 were brilliant - Ines in midfield and Izzy and Flo on the right all excelled and Ivy, Megs and Elena were great at the back.

We now have to wait on other results - Eastbourne need two wins from three games to overtake us at the top."
